The meaning
Why 2027?
2027 marks 2,000 years since Jesus' baptism · the moment when, rising from the water, He entered His public ministry (Luke 3). The campaign is not a nostalgic anniversary: it is a point of convergence so that, in the same season, everywhere, the Church proclaims with one voice the One who began His work there.
The campaign
Three pillars · made local
1 · Project
Worldwide, in September 2027. All media, from Church to member. Christ-focused.
2 · Preparation
A global prayer initiative, reading The Desire of Ages, studying Daniel & Revelation.
3 · Purpose
Mobilize the whole church family for harvest events contextualized to each region.
What it means for a local church: pray now, feed on Christ, and prepare a harvest fitted to your context · not copy an imported format.
Part 1
Spiritual preparation plan
A slow calendar over the months that remain. Order matters more than speed.
Now
Prayer. Join the global prayer initiative; open every board and every service with prayer for 2027. Lean on
Pray for the mission.
This year
Feed on Christ. A community reading of The Desire of Ages (the life of Jesus). One chapter a week, shared in groups.
Toward 2027
Study Daniel & Revelation. Revisit the prophecies that carry the Adventist hope · in class or small groups · so the harvest rests on solid ground.
Part 2
How-to for a local church
1Appoint a OneVoice27 lead (or a small team) · carried by the board, confirmed by the congregation.
2Set the course on the church calendar: prayer, reading, study, training of witnesses by Sept. 2027.
3Choose your media: what your church can actually sustain · social, local radio, door-to-door, events. "From Church to member."
5Prepare to welcome newcomers now: sponsorship, class, integration · so the harvest isn't lost.
